Our band of draft cross mares imparts upon their foals admirable confirmation, endurance, and a kind mentality. Staged in the mountains six months out of the year, our mares are afforded the opportunity to participate in a routine of structure and discipline, immersed in all elements of nature developing a unique mindset to be passed on to future generations of foals for sale.

Foals from a particular mare may be reserved in advance by contract and held with a $500 deposit.

Descending from the legendary High Brow Cat and Playgun, our stallion Feather Trigger offers horse admirers and breeders alike a unique opportunity to purchase or raise a well-minded, athletic and striking steed.
BREEDING
Flying R Livestock is situated amidst the banks of alpine waterways in the tall grass meadows of western Wyoming which provides an ideal setting for pasture breeding - the preferred method of our band of mares. Over a period of three months, our stallion has the uniterrupted opportunity to cover each mare. We also offer hand breeding for outside mares upon request.
FOALS
Bred for great versatility inclusive of ranch work, roping and outfitting, our foals bear an uncommon fusion of raw athletic talent and robust grit. Fueled by the intellect of their sire and vitality of their dam, Flying R foals are cultivated to excel in any direction under strong leadership.
